You’ve probably heard this said at some point, “Pay it forward!”

Well, for me, when it comes to helping others and passing along the comfort I and my family have received since the wreck of June 18, 2002, paying that love forward certainly gets my attention.

Why? Because it shows, to some degree, how small things really can make a BIG difference, whether it’s a phone call, email, visit, card, smile or touch! Encouraging others with what we’ve learned through suffering and hard times can inspire others to take the next step in life and not give up!

The story goes on…

IN Magazine — www.INmagtexas.com — will feature the story of my journey with traumatic brain injury in their January/February 2014 issue. May we choose to pay it forward!

What a wonderful God we have—he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does he do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us. (2Corinthians 1:3,4)
