Learning from the Tough Stuff

How do others describe your character?

Tonight, a fellow was talking with me about a quote I had written in a graduation card for one of his friends. We were talking about life and character and how hard times seem to be the main way our character is carved out in us.

See what your take is… It’s a quote by Helen Keller:

Character isn’t developed in quiet and ease. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success revealed.

Lean into GOD as He’s growing your character…try not to run.

*Remember: “Taken in the right spirit these very things will give us patient endurance; this in turn will develop a mature character, and a character of this sort produces a steady hope, a hope that will never disappoint us. Already we have some experience of the love of God flooding through our hearts by the Holy Spirit given to us.” (Romans 5:3-5)
