Don’t give up! Keep trying.

Since the entire month of March highlights Brain-Injury Awareness, let me share with you a wee bit of a journal entry I wrote several years after the wreck as I was trying to learn to cope with traumatic brain injury:

“When you suffer TBI and you have to live with it, life becomes a whole lot harder than it’s ever been….it goes way outside the box and forces you to have to learn to live and cope with it. There’s no manual that prepares you for exactly what you’ll go through, but there are some who have gone before us and told us their stories so we could have help along our journey.”

Plus, here is the link to a special news story that CBS19’s Courtney Friedman put together in honor of Brain-Injury Awareness Day: http://www.cbs19.tv/story/24959550/survivors-mission-to-educate-about-brain-injury
