And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. (Mark 11:25)

The other day, I was with a group of young adults who were having a “Q & A” (Question and Answer) time with me. After I had talked about forgiving the guy who ran over us (in the traffic wreck back on June 18, 2002), some of them started talking about how important it was for somebody to forgive them, especially if they were the ones who had done the wrong to someone.

That really stuck with me…it SO stood out and grabbed my attention!

Forgiveness matters to most of us a whole lot more than we’ll admit.  Too many times, our pride rears its ugly head and gobbles down that much-needed ingredient of life – forgiveness!

And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us [who has offended us or done us wrong]. And bring us not into temptation but rescue us from evil. (Luke 11:4; Amplified Bible)
