A Time to Pray

After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10; NIV)

Did you notice that? Not until AFTER Job had chosen to humble himself and pray for the very “friends” who had hurt him deeply at a very vulnerable time for him, did the Lord restore what he had lost…and then some?!?!

WOW, that was an incredible truth that I have so often overlooked in Scripture!

How about you? Are there some people you need to pray for? Some things you need to offer to the Lord in prayer? God listens!

There is true power in true prayer that goes to God Almighty!

And the Lord turned the captivity of Job and restored his fortunes, when he prayed for his friends; also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10; Amplified).
