Have you had one of those mornings when you woke up with a certain song on your mind, like your “jukebox” brain was playing a particular tune?
Well, this morning was that time for me. It’s a song from, I think, the early 90s - God Will Make A Way. Listen to these words:
God will make a way
When there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me.
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way
God will make a way.
Trusting God to make a way is sometimes hard because we can’t see ahead and oftentime it makes no sense to our human ways.
I urge you to meditate on this Truth today, only this one verse: Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in Me” (John 14:1).

“Oops!” the little girl squealed as the plate crashed to the floor, “I didn’t mean to do that, Mommy. I’m so sorry.”
“That’s okay, Baby Girl. I’ll help you pick it up,” said her mother as she stooped down to help her.
Simple illustration. And a simple truth that all of us can relate to: God stoops down to help us in the midst of our “plate-crashing” moments of life. Whether it be a trust we’ve broken, a word we’ve spoken, an important date we’ve forgotten, or whatever pit we’ve fallen into, God bends down/stoops down to help us in our times of need!
Uhmmm…reminds me of the richness of Psalm 40! Soak in this: I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord (Psalm 40: 1-4).

I’ve heard it said, So many times we don’t listen and follow because we want to lead and tell. Wow, how true this is! So often our pride gets the best of us and we show our total color before we know it!
Where is God in your life? Is it merely a once-a-week relationship you have with Him, or is He in your heart leading you day by day? Take a Calgon Moment in these Words and see what He says to you: The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming; that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.’ For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:8-13).
Please friend, today talk to the Lord and receive Him into your heart.
As Beth Moore has written in her book, So Long, Insecurity, “Your eternity will be secure and your salvation will be complete and absolute.”

I’m just curious - what has the Lord been teaching you lately? … ya know how He brings a particular verse to your mind and then it keeps coming up in different places with different people?
Well lately, Ps 32:8 has been that verse for me. It appears here, then there…God keeps getting my attention with it! The Psalmist says, I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way thou shalt go, and I will guide thee with mine eye.
Like a little kid, I SO love how the Lord will stir-up my insides and teach me what He wants me to learn, in ways that I can “get”!
How about you, what has He been teaching you lately?
