Whatever happens… Hmmmm, wonder what she means by dot, dot, dot?
‘Glad you asked! (Ta!, as they’d say in Poland)
Lately, my mind’s been thinking about all the “new and different” steps people are in the midst of taking right now - graduating from high school, finishing one grade and moving to another, transitioning from home to college, etc. What about you, where are your footprints leading?
People are always “on the go,” whether it has to do with work, family, school, etc… people (let me be more specific) individuals are always “in process.”
If you’re a member of God’s family, you know what I mean…the Lord Jesus is always growing us up, pushing us out of the box, and teaching us how to follow Him, much like hinds feet on high places!
Soooo (let me “land the plane”), whatever’s happening in your life right now, remember this and put these words into action: Live in such a way that you are a credit to the Message of Christ (Ph 1:27, The Message); Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ (Ph 1:27, NIV).
Whatever happens… trust God; He’ll take good care of you!

Come dive into my mind with me and surf some of my brain-waves!…
Last week I was hanging out with Andrew, one of my dear radio buds, and Jimmy Needham, a CCM artist who he represents. (Jimmy’s a swell guy…loves the Lord and loves people!)
Imagine this with me, we were all in the studio at the station gabbing and having a good time, when Jimmy started talking about his new project (which, btw, was coming out the next day - May 18) - Night Lights. Hmmmmmm, my mind says, Lights….
So, soak in this with me… Whether you’re on your way to work at St Elizabeth’s in Cinncinati or meeting a friend for coffee…or maybe you’re job-hunting and crying out to the Lord for help, remember this: You are the light of the world; a city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. Let your light so shine before others that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven (Mt 5:14-16).
Happy Shining, friends!

WOW! When I recently read this acronym of the word “persevere,” my insides leapt up and down, cheering “YESSSSS!”
Let it soak into you and see how it connects to you!
Mac Anderson wrote: I can only wish that I had BJ Gallagher’s book, The Best Way Out is Always Through: The Mary Kay Ash Story, to provide inspiration as I fought through my times of adversity. It is terrific! The table of contents will give you a little “snapshot” of what it’s all about:
Introduction:
• Persist no matter what.
• Endure discomfort.
• Request help.
• Steadfastly hold on to your beliefs and values.
• Envision triumph.
• Very consistently keep at it.
• Embrace adversity as your teacher.
• Refuse to give up.
• Enjoy and celebrate every tiny bit of progress!
Cast all your cares and anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for you (I Peter 5:7)…He’ll give you the strength you need to persevere.

Recently I was reading a part of Corrie Ten Boom’s little book, Plenty for Everyone, and these two verses in Exodus 14 gripped me.
See what the Lord says to you -
Exodus 14:13-14 (King James Version)
13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
Exodus 14:13-14 (New Century Version)
13 But Moses answered, “Don’t be afraid! Stand still and you will see the Lord save you today. You will never see these Egyptians again after today.14 You only need to remain calm; the Lord will fight for you.”
Exodus 14:13-14 (Amplified Bible)
13Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.
14The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.

Take a Calgon Moment with God in these words…soak in them and see what He says to you - Though it tarries, wait for it… (Habakkuk 2:3).
Oswald Chambers said that it takes patience to wait for the vision. What am I talking about? Read on…
He went on to say: “Patience is not the same as indifference; patience conveys the idea of someone who is tremendously strong and able to withstand all assaults. Having the vision of God is the source of patience because it gives us God’s true and proper inspiration. Moses endured, not because of his devotion to his principles of what was right, not because of his sense of duty to God, but because he had a vision of God …he endured as seeing Him who is invisible (Hebrews 11:27). A person who has the vision of God is not devoted to a cause or to any particular issue - he is devoted to God Himself. You always know when the vision is of God because of the inspiration that comes with it.”
Though it tarries, wait for it… “The proof that we have the vision is that we are reaching out for more than we have already grasped. It is a bad thing to be satisfied spiritually… Paul said, Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on…(Philippians 3:12). If we have the inspiration of the vision of God, we have more than we can ever experience.”
Though it tarries, wait for it…
