Questions arise from so many different directions, causing us to wonder who to trust, what to trust, what to believe, what to think. Confusion rares its ugly head! But remember this: “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints” (1 Corinthians 14:33, NKJV).
Here’s a balancing-truth from Sarah Young’s devotional, JESUS CALLING: TRUST AND THANKFULNESS will get you safely through this day. Trust protects you from worrying and obsessing. Thankfulness keeps you from criticizing and complaining - those sister sins that so easily entangle you.
Keeping your eyes on Me is the same thing as trusting Me. It is a free choice that you must make thousands of times daily. The more you choose to trust Me, the easier it becomes. Thought patterns of trust become etched into your brain. Relegate troubles to the periphery of your mind, so that I can be central in your thoughts. Thus you focus on Me, entrusting your concerns into My care.
Colossians 1:6-7; Psalm 141:8

Slowing down and paying attention to God is not what the “busy-ness” of this world wants…it urges us to run here, run there; do this, do that! But His Word tells us to fix our eyes on Him, the Lord Jesus (Heb 12:2).
Dive-in to this devotional: “THANK ME for the conditions that are requiring you to be still. Do not spoil these quiet hours by wishing them away, waiting impatiently to be active again. Some of the greatest works in My kingdom have been done from sick beds and prison cells. Instead of resenting limitations of a weakened body, search for My ways in the midst of these very circumstances. Limitations can be liberating when your strongest desire is to live close to Me.
Quietness and trust enhance your awareness of My Presence with you. Do not despise these simple ways of serving Me. Although you feel cut off from the activity of the world, your quiet trust makes a powerful statement in the spiritual realms. My Strength and Power show themselves most effective in weakness.”
Isaiah 30:15; 2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)
Keep trusting Him…He’s going to take care of you.

The Lord’s favor is on you! It’s time to rebuild, restore, renew… Dive-in to the Truth of Isaiah 61:1-4:
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.”

What’s growing in your Spiritual Garden….plants, flowers, weeds, briers?
Here are some thoughts from Patsy Clairmont in her book, The Hat Box…do you relate?….
“Growth and change are synonymous.”
“I’m grateful to know that our feebleness qualifies us for God’s strength.”
“He (God) will deepen our faith, cultivate our character, and water our
parched hearts.”
May we trust the True Gardener!
