Like we all know, things can get on our nerves and do a number on us; some things can bother us, while others can lift us up and bring a smile to our face!
Think about these Truths this week from Psalm 37….speak them to yourself and put them into practice as you deal with different situations that come along:
“Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good, dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:1-4; NIV).
God’s grace and mercy to you!!

Living out the Truth of Proverbs 3:5,6 has been heavily on me lately…I keep being reminded of putting it into “living color.”
Take a Calgon Moment with God in this Living-Truth as you read today’s post: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”
From the devotional, Jesus Calling: “I AM LEADING YOU ALONG THE HIGH ROAD, but there are descents as well as ascents. In the distance you see snow-covered peaks glistening in brilliant sunlight. Your longing to reach those peaks is good, but you must not take shortcuts. Your assignment is to follow Me, allowing Me to direct your path. Let the height beckon you onward, but stay close to Me.
Learn to trust Me when things go ‘wrong.’ Disruptions to your routine highlights your dependence on Me. Trusting acceptance of trials brings blessings that far outweigh them all. Walk hand in hand with Me through this day. I have lovingly planned every inch of the way. Trust does not falter when the path becomes rocky and steep. Breathe deep draughts of My Presence, and hold tightly to My hand. Together we can make it!”
John 21:19; 2 Corinthians 4:17; Habakkuk 3:19

As time goes on, it seems like it’s getting harder and harder to know who to trust, who to believe, who to respect. There’s a lot of “audio” coming out of a person’s mouth that isn’t matching his “video.”
Dive into today’s devotional from Sarah Young’s book, Jesus Calling:
“TRUST ME by relinquishing control into My hands. Let go, and recognize that I am God. This is My world: I made it and I control it. Yours is a responsive part in the litany of Love. I search among My children for receptivity to Me. Guard well this gift that I have planted in your heart. Nurture it with the Light of My Presence.
When you bring Me prayer requests, lay out your concerns before Me. Speak to Me candidly; pour out your heart. Then thank Me for the answers that I have set into motion long before you can discern results.”
Colossians 4:2; 2 Peter 1:3,4

This morning I was up very early…I turned on DAYSTAR and started watching CreationScapes. It was scanning some beautiful places…panoramic views and up-close shots of some gorgeous plants and flowers that God created!
The tulips especially caught my eye! It was like they were singing in the wind! “He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord” (Ps 40:3).
May God bring a song to your heart!
