If you’ve been talking with God about things heavy on your heart, and the waiting is beginning to be very tough on you…here’s something to ponder with God:
In her study book, Discerning the Voice of God, Priscilla Shirer wrote, …pray that He (God) will help you see the things you might be missing that He is already doing in your life.
And remember: Wait and hope for and expect the Lord, be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord (Psalm 27:14, Amp).

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength (Matthew 22:37)
You know this verse…you’ve heard it time and time again.
But for this moment, this breath of time, soak in this … take a Calgon Moment in it - Love God with everything you’ve got; give it all to Him; yield everything you have to Him (that includes everything you have in your heart that nobody else knows or sees)…..
….and trust Him - He’s going to watch over you, no matter what…He’ll take care of you completely through and through……that’s why He’s God and we’re not!
Have a go at loving Him and yielding everything you are to Him, even the bad stuff…..God can handle it; you won’t scare Him away!
Keep your eyes open…

Do you have your shield, today?
Hmmm…listen to this: A soldier who handles a shield does not put it behind him but in front of him. Then he is covered. That is the right position. When the Lord is our shield, He must go before us and we must remain behind Him. Many are willing to work for the Lord, but they walk in front of Him, and thus the fiery arrows of the evil one can reach them without difficulty (Marching Orders for the End Battle by Corrie ten Boom).
So….march on with your shield of faith before you!

Here’s a song that’s been on my mind lately - “He Will Make A Way”….it was recorded in the 90s by, I think, the group Truth.
Anyway, the message of this song has really been sticking with me: “God will make a way…where there seems to be no way…He works in ways we cannot see…He will make a way for me…”
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding… (Pr 3:5)

Take an adventure with me. Imagine you’re one of Jesus’ disciples and all of you are sitting around Him as He talks with you and tells you different things about life and how to deal with various situations.
Imagine…
You’re beginning to lean back on a big rock behind you, and Jesus says something that “stops you in your tracks.” You swallow deeply as He says, You have heard it said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…(Matthew 5:43,44) What are you thinking? What’s going through your mind?
Today, as your life continues step-by-step and you experience some tough Monday-Moments, have a go at doing the opposite of what your feelings scream at you - instead, love your enemies and pray for them….God will be God; trust Him!
