This morning, TBI (traumatic brain injury) is very much at the forefront of my mind. Listen to this quote about America and the way our culture “tolerates” so much:
One of the insane features of American culture is that we tolerate the voilence caused by vehicular accidents, falls, blood sports, and assaults, while at the same time we advocate peace in the world…Doing what we know we must to halt the epidemic of traumatic brain injury should begin with redirecting our culture away from violence and selfishness and toward civility and empathy (pp.203,204 -Confronting Traumatic Brain Injury by William Winslade).

I spent this past weekend with dear friends and relatives…they’ve made a difference in my life; they have their “own place” in my heart.
Hmmmm…’makes me think about two well-known words - thank you.
Do we say them as often as we think them? Hmmm…
Today, may we step out of our box and speak these two profound words to the people who have Made A Difference in our lives!

Today, as you deal with what you’re facing…having to make so many quick decisions that aren’t always easy, if “easy” at all…fix your eyes on God and listen to what He’s laying on your heart:
This is what the Lord says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go (Isaiah 48:17, NIV).
Hang on…God is leading you through…Trust Him, no matter what!
